There were a few mornings last year when i forgot my jump-drive home and couldn't print out the documents I needed for my class... Google docs can save me this year when I forget my drive again... Thank you, Google Docs... Thank you.

This is going to be great to use this upcoming school year. It's a great way to update students and parents on daily events within the classroom and school.

This is the first time that I am exploring google, and in just two days I have found that the igoogle can help organize my websites. Google Docs is great for collaborating with colleagues, and for students collaborate with each other.

In both areas of my life it brings forth a new form of oraganization and I can always use that. In addition it keeps the teacher in contact with their students outside of school and allows for reflection among classmates. It gives students a chance to be collobrative members of the class as well as challenges their thinking skills.

This was extremely helpful, I learned a lot of new things and I now have an even greater appreciation for the WWW. I Will definetly use quite a bit of the info I have learned in this course over the summer- if my old brain can retain it all.

I am very anxious to expose all these new technology to my students in September. I can anticipate the improvement in students performance in their State Test scores and also in their general attitude towards their work. This is invaluable stuff

It is wonderful to hear your enthusiasm and ideas for using Google Docs. Continue to use what you have learned to enhance your personal and professional lives.

No one, including Mr. P will ever have to worry about leaving anything at home again!

Please continue to post to this blog to keep the communication going.

I don't think I'll use it professionally, but personally, I like to write. If I were to hit a writers block, I could send what I had to a friend for a jolt. Or maybe for editing. It would be fun.

I am happy to have opened a gmail account and have learned a lot about google doc. By comparing Google to Yahoo, I have learned more and more advantages of these 2 tools. For instance, I can my own files on Google, also in the "my briefcase" of Yahoo. All these discoveries excites me! Thanks a lot for introducing google doc to me. =)

Already, the school that I will be teaching at is using this tool to create a shared list of technological hardware the teachers would need in their classrooms. I envision using this tool to inform students and parents about the supplies needed for class and create a sign in/out sheet for using the technology.

I will definitely use Google docs for storage.I would not use it for my every day lessons because I will be left in the cold if the system is slow or if there is no internet connection. But knowing that all my lessons are there will be very reassuring. It will prevent me from losing my hair or my sanity next semester!!!

I'm going to be in a tech room coming September and I just can't wait to use these new tools. Until now I just think of it as an MS-Tech class, but with all these tools(nylearns' websites, wikis) and GOOGLE DOCS, I can definetely call my class lessons as today's tech lessons. I can see myself in the PDs teaching my colleagues my newly obtained tools.
